KIDS CHOICE SCHOOL HOLIDAY bookings are now open.  The programme will open on Tuesday 18th April til Friday 28th April 2017.

Days are full of fun activities and trips to stimulate and entertain your children in a safe, fully supervised environment.

CYF’s approved allowing you to apply for a subsidy.

We are based at the Presbyterian Church, 10 Penzance Road, Mairangi Bay.  Hours of operation are 7am til 6pm daily.

Before  and  After  school  Care  for 5 – 14  year  olds.

Enrolments are currently available in our CYF’s approved before and after school care programme.  Based in the Presbyterian  Church  hall, 10  Penzance  Road,  Mairangi  Bay.

We give the children breakfast and they take part in quiet activities until we take them to school each morning.

After school we collect the children from school and take them to the programme where they have afternoon tea and assistance with their homework. We have several computers available for the children to use for homework purposes.

Each day the children have a choice of various planned fun activities such as craft, art, cooking, knitting, cross stitch, games, sport etc. We spend time outdoors when the weather permits. Your children will be cared for by a great team of caring, professional, police vetted staff who love working with children. While our rates are reasonable we are also CYF’s approvedenabling families to apply for OSCAR subsidies.

Transport to or from sports activities can be available by negotiation.

My name is Yun Wei. I am a doctoral student with the Parenting Research Group at the Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Auckland. I am conducting research about the parenting experiences of Chinese immigrant parents and their preferences regarding participation in parenting programmes. We are inviting Chinese immigrant parents with a five to twelve-year-old child to participate in this study. flyer

Following the success of our Term 1 after-school drama classes at The PumpHouse Theatre in Takapuna, we are now taking enrolments for term 2. We would be very grateful if you were able to share the information about the classes in your school newsletter.

Monet S has been selected to represent NZ at the World Championship of Performance Art in Hollywood in 2017. (The Olympics for performing arts!) About 50 countries participates each year and in the past New Zealand has done very well. Monet is required to fundraise her own costs to attend. If you would like to support Monet then please see:


Music tuition for $150 - $250 for 2017.

After school or Saturday mornings.

Enrol now for 2017 music classes at Murrays Bay Intermediate School for students aged 7-13years old.  The cost is $150 - $250 for the year.  Instruments offered are: drums, guitar, ukelele, cello, violin, viola, saxophone, clarinet, keyboard/piano, trumpet, trombone, recorder, and flute.

The tutors are highly qualified and make learning relevant and enjoyable.

his is for accomplished instrument players in years 4 – 8 who wish to develop their musicianship skills in orchestral and band performance, and perform at the Auckland Town Hall as part of the wider APPA festival in November.

The students need parental commitment so they can attend the 3 Day Course at the venues below,  in the last week of term 3; plus there will also be a few Saturday or Sunday rehearsals, lots of practice at home and one rehearsal in the Town Hall which they also need to get their child to.   The venue for the practices is below:
